Client Brief: To celebrate their 80th anniversary Sonesta Hotel and Resorts collaborated with Point B Communications and I to create some animated Billboards on Times Square! There were 6 Billboards totaling about 13,500 square feet. I was given the base designs for a few of them and was tasked with animating them and adjusting to match assorted templated sizes.
Role: Motion Graphics.
Process: Despite its scale this was a pretty straight forward one. All the advertisers provide AE templates for sizing so you just have to work within those bounds. Thanks to my friends in NYC Daryl Correa and Sam Swanson for all the great video footage and pictures. SO exciting to see these at such a scale!
