This is a mock up for an “I Voted” Sticker contest hosted by San Francisco Elections. Really enjoyed playing with fonts here.
I referenced 2 photos for the initial sketch. Both were taken at the end of great days and I wanted to bring that energy into this piece. Top left was from college. The bottom right was from the December residency in Brazil.

All my time had gone to a freelance project. So day of the deadline all I had was an unfinished sketch. Briefly considered not finishing then I remembered a talk I heard at a conference and my own passion for the subject matter, gave myself a pep talk, and pushed through. This led to me working through the night taking my laptop to bar for a mograph meet up. Working through conversations and chaos I finished about 35 mins before the deadline. With such a quick turnaround there’s a lot more I wanted to do with this but am proud of what was accomplished.
